A little piece of our childhood, now yours to enjoy.

Long before it became The Dog Wood, we knew this little patch of family land simply as “The Orchard.”

​

As we grew up, the woodland grew with us. Rather than changing or tidying away the things that make it special, we wanted to find a way to share it while protecting its natural, slightly wild character.

​

And so, The Dog Wood was born.

​

We’ve deliberately kept The Dog Wood feeling like a woodland, rather than turning it into a manicured dog field. There are trees to weave between, trails to follow, leaves to crunch through and an ever-changing collection of smells for curious noses.

​

By offering the wood for private bookings, dogs and their humans can enjoy the freedom of the space entirely to themselves, whether that’s for a peaceful walk, a good run around or somewhere safe and quiet to practice training.

It’s a place that holds lots of happy memories for our family, and we hope it becomes somewhere you and your dog make a few of your own.
